Rejuvenate Your Skin And Scalp With Exosome Treatment In Perth

Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles secreted by stem cells, rich in lipids, proteins, and ribonucleic acids (RNAs), that enable effective intercellular communication. Through exosome therapy, these vesicles stimulate cell regeneration, leading to collagen production and/or hair growth.

At Skyn, we use both Exomide and Préime brands for skin and scalp exosome therapy in our Perth clinic. We deliver these into your skin or scalp through microchannels created by micro-needling, leaving you with radiant skin or promoted hair growth.

COMMON Exomide Exosomes QUESTIONS

Safety & Suitability

Safety and suitability for any treatment are determined on an individual basis. During a personalised consultation, your practitioner will review your medical history and assess factors specific to you to determine whether a treatment is clinically appropriate.

Because suitability and risks vary between individuals, detailed information about potential side effects, risks, and aftercare is not provided publicly. This information is discussed privately during your consultation, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and tailored to your personal circumstances. Your practitioner will also answer any questions you have to support informed decision-making based on professional clinical guidance.

Can Exosomes be used with other treatments?

Exosomes can be applied topically following various skin treatments, including:

  • CO2 Laser
  • RF Microneedling
  • Erbium Resurfacing
  • Clear + Brilliant
  • Micro-needling/SkinPen
What are exosomes?

Exosomes are small, nano-sized vesicles produced and released by stem cells. They contain a variety of molecules, including proteins, RNA (ribonucleic acid), lipids (fats), and other bioactive substances. The specific contents of exosomes vary depending on the type of cell they originate from.

Can you have treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding?

Exomide™ Exosomes have been tested and approved by the Korean Dermatology Research Institute for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, the decision to have treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding is up to you and your Obstetrician.

Are Exosomes the same as Stem Cells?

No, exosomes are not stem cells. Exosomes are small vesicles released by stem cells for communication and the delivery of materials like proteins and nucleic acids. Stem cells are living cells capable of self-renewal and differentiation into other cell types. Exosomes are byproducts of stem cells, not the cells themselves, making them cell and DNA-free. They can’t replicate or transform. Since exosomes lack immune markers, they are unlikely to be rejected by the body.

What is the function of an exosome?

Once exosomes are secreted or released from a cell, they play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication, transferring information and altering the behaviour of neighbouring cells. It’s important to note that exosomes are not cells themselves; they are small vesicles released by cells and cannot reproduce.

Will Exomide™ Scalp Exosomes work anywhere for hair growth?

Yes, Exomide™ Scalp Exosomes can promote hair growth, giving positive results for hair loss. However, hair follicles already need to be present for the treatment to be effective.
