Collagen Stimulators for Hand Rejuvenation

Smooth Over Hand Wrinkles with our premium Hand Rejuvenation treatment. Just like our faces, our hands change over time. Veins and tendons become more prominent, and the youthful appearance fades.

SKYN® Hand Rejuvenation uses a type of Dermal Filler know as Collagen Stimulators to immediately restore volume loss in the back of hands, giving you smooth, natural-looking, and long-lasting results.

How our Hand Rejuvenation can enhance your hands

  • Restoring Lost Volume – our hands can show the signs of ageing through volume loss.
  • Minimizing the Visibility of Veins and Tendons – Volume loss to the back of hands can make tendons more obvious and veins more visible.
  • Providing a Smooth, Natural-Looking, and Long-Lasting Result – Volume loss to the back of hands can make your hands look older.

RESULTS IN FOCUS

COMMON QUESTIONS

Immediately upon injection, the filler helps smooth out lines and wrinkles

The natural-looking results can last a year or more for many clients.

There is a general consensus that the body eventually absorbs the substance within six to 18 months depending on the individual, cases can differ due to a wide range of factors.

At SKYN® the product our injectors use is made of a non-animal crystal-clear biodegradable gel, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. However, being a non-surgical cosmetic procedure, dermal fillers can carry risks. Common reactions to dermal filler injections can include swelling, irritation, redness or bruising. More serious side-effects are a rarity, they could include allergic reactions, filler blindness or occlusions.

This demonstrates the importance of trusting your injector, and their legitimacy. At SKYN® take reassurance that you are in the presence of medically trained Talent. During your complimentary initial consult, you will have the opportunity to talk through any concerns you may have regarding the safety of dermal fillers.

Bruising is a common reaction to fillers – unrelated to the skill of your injector. Areas such as the lips are especially vulnerable to cosmetic injecting as they are highly vascular.

You will be given an ice pack post-treatment, which is your best defence against bruising and swelling. Iron supplements or Vitamin C are believed to increase the bodies wound healing capabilities, so may reduce the effects of bruising. It is believed that medication’s such as Aspirin, pain killers, or high dosages of Vitamin E could increase chances of bruising.

Exercise post-treatment, or anything that increases your heart rate which increases blood flow to the area, could also contribute to bruising. Otherwise, bruising should subside within 2-4 days post-treatment.

You may return to normal activities after your treatment, although aftercare steps we would recommend include:

  • Icing the treated area
  • Refraining from vigorous exercise, sun exposure or heat
  • Rubbing or pressing on the area
  • Applying makeup for the first 8 hours post-treatment.

It is also recommended to avoid consumption of alcohol, spicy food, cigarettes or substances that may cause irritation or swelling within the first 24-48 hours.

Medical Advertising regulations prevent all clinics from advertising these treatments by brand name in public documents. SKYN only uses premium quality products. For more information about the individual brands we use, please contact us.
